Calling all aspiring aerial circus artists and acrobats!
Youth Aerial Level 1

WHEN:
Mondays 4:10 p.m. 1/8-5/20
Tuesdays 4:10-5:10 p.m. 1/9-5/21
Thursdays 4:10-5:10 p.m. 1/11-5/23
Fridays 4:10-5:10 p.m. 1/12-5/24
THE CLASS: This class is for anyone ages 7-10 who wants to learn aerial dance. Students will learn basic skills on the aerial fabric, sling, trapeze & hoop. Practicing aerial dance builds strength, flexibility, coordination, creativity & more. Towards the end of the session the students will work on linking together the skills they’ve learned for the showcase.
PERFORMANCES: There will be a performance in the last class of the session which will be the week of 5/19-25.
MISSED CLASS POLICY: Please text 720-507-5422 or email us at info@gravityaerialarts.com to notify us ahead of time if they are going to miss a class and to schedule a makeup class. If we are not notified they will not be able to make up the class. Makeups must be done during the session.

Youth Aerial Level 2

WHEN:
Wednesdays 4:10-5:10 p.m. 1/10-5/22
Fridays 4:10-5:10 p.m. 1/12-5/22
THE CLASS: This class is for aerialists ages 7-10 that have 1+ years aerial experience & skills listed below that want to take their aerial skills to the next level. Students will continue to develop their skills on the aerial fabric, sling, hoop & trapeze. Towards the end of the session the students will work on choreography for the showcase.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
2 x straddles (from the ground)
Climbing
Double foot-locks
Pullover (from the ground)
PERFORMANCES: There will be a performance in the last class of the session which will be the week of 5/19-25.

WHEN:

THE CLASS: This class is for aerialists ages 7-10 who have 2+ years aerial experience & the skills listed below that want to take their aerial skills to the next level. Students will learn the next level of skills on the aerial fabric, sling, trapeze and hoop. There will be a strong focus on building strength & flexibility as well as refining technique and performance skills. This class will have at least 2 performance opportunities during this session.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
2 x straddles (in the air)
Creature Climb
Double foot-locks (in the air)
Hip Key (in the air)
PERFORMANCES:
Group performance at Cleo Parker Robinson dance theatre in April or May 4th & 5th (dress rehearsal times TBD).
Solo or duo performance in the last class of the session which will be the week of 5/19-25.

THE CLASS: This class is for aerialists ages 11-16 that have 3+ years aerial experience & the skills listed below that want to take their aerial skills to the next level. Students will continue to progress their skills on the aerial fabric, sling, trapeze & hoop. There will be a strong focus on building strength & flexibility as well as refining technique & performance skills. This class will have at least 2 performance opportunities during this session.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
3 x sequential straddles (in the air)
S-wrap (from flamenco or tick tock entrance)
Hip Key (in the air, from fan kick entrance)
PERFORMANCES:
Group performance at Cleo Parker Robinson dance theatre in April or May 4th & 5th (dress rehearsal times TBD).
Solo or duo performance in the last class of the session which will be the week of 5/19-25.
