Aerial Basics

Sun 11:30a-12:30p, Tues 10-11a

 

Introductory class for those that would like to start learning aerial dance.  Learn all the basics on aerial fabric, hoop/Lyra, trapeze, rope.    Ages 12+. No experience necessary.  

 

Teen Fabric 3 Intermediate

Mon 5:30-6:30p

 

Learn intermediate skills, sequences, drops, poses, climbs and descents on aerial fabric. This class will also help to build strength, flexibility, technique and style.  Must be to able to invert in the air and do hip keys.  Ages 11-17.

 

Teen Hoop/Lyra Mixed Level

Mon 4:30-5:30p

 

Learn beginning to advanced skills, sequences, drops, poses, mounts, dismounts and spins on aerial hoop/Lyra. This class will also help to build strength, flexibility, technique and style.  Ages 11-17.  No experience necessary.

 

Fabric 1 Beginning

Tues 7:30-8:30p, Thur 6-7p, Sat 3-4p

 

Learn beginning skills, sequences, poses, climbs and descents on aerial fabric. This class will also help to build strength, flexibility, technique and style.  Ages 12+. No experience necessary.

 

Fabric 2 Beginning/Intermediate

Mon 7:30-8:30p

 

Ready to move up the the next level fabric?  Start learning more complicated poses, sequences and drops.  Ages 12+.  Must know both footlocks, regular and russians climbs, and have at least started working on hip keys and inversions.

 

Fabric 3 Intermediate

Sat 2-3p, Wed 6:30-7:30p

 

Learn intermediate skills, sequences, drops, poses, climbs and descents on aerial fabric. This class will also help to build strength, flexibility, technique and style.  Must be to able to invert in the air & do hip keys. Ages 12+. Must know basic drops be able to invert in the air and do hip keys in the air.

 

Fabric 4 Intermediate/ Advanced

Mon 6:30-7:45p, Thur 7-8:15p

 

Learn intermediate to advanced skills, sequences, drops, poses, climbs and descents on aerial fabric.  This class will also help to build strength, flexibility, technique and style. Ages 12+. Must have experience doing drops and more complex sequences.

 

Hoop/Lyra 1Beginning

Thurs 7-8p

 

Learn beginning skills, sequences, poses, mounts, dismounts and spins on aerial hoop/Lyra. This class will also help to build strength, flexibility, technique and style. Ages 12+. No experience necessary.

 

Hoop/Lyra 2 Beginning/Intermediate

Fri 6:30-7:30p

 

Ready to take your Lyra skills to the next level?  Start learning more intermediate level tricks, poses, and sequences. Ages 12+. Must be able to do the following without a spot - straddle on and off hoop, pull over (with feet is fine), straddle back balance & mermaid.

 

Hoop/Lyra 3 Intermediate

Mon 6:45-8p, Thurs 8-9:15p

 

Learn intermediate skills, sequences, drops, poses, mounts, dismounts and spins on aerial hoop/Lyra. This class will also help to build strength, flexibility, technique and style. Ages 12+. Must be able to do multiple inversions in the air & pull overs.

 

Straps Conditioning Mixed Level

Tues 7:30-8:30p

 

Learn beginning to advanced skills, sequences, poses, roll ups and descents on aerial straps. This class will also help to build strength, flexibility, technique and style. Ages 12+. Some aerial experience is recommended.

 

 

Trapeze Beginning 1

Wed 5:30-6:30p

 

Learn beginning trapeze sequences, poses, mounts and dismounts on dance and static trapeze. This class will also help to build strength, flexibility, technique and style. Ages 12+. No experience necessary.

 

Trapeze Intermediate/Advanced 3

Wed 6:30-7:30p

 

In this intermediate/advanced class we will work on more challenging trapeze skills, drops and sequences with an emphasis on technique and conditioning. Ages 12+. Must be able to do 1 pull up, 1 pull over, 3 consecutive inversions, & invert in the lines.

 

Flexibility/ Contortion Mixed Level

Wed 7:15-8:30p, Sat 1-2:15p

 

Work on improving flexibility in all areas of the body.  Using both dynamic and passive stretching techniques to increase range of movement.  This class will also work on strengthening the muscle that are needed when holding and balancing contortion poses. Ages 12+. No experience necessary.

 

Sling/Hammock Mixed Level

Sun 1:00-2:00p

 

Learn beginning to advanced skills, sequences, drops, poses, and descents on aerial sling. This class will also help to build strength, flexibility, technique and style. Ages 12+. Some aerial experience recommended.

 

Handstands& Acro Balances

Tues 6:30-7:30p

 

This class focuses on all things balance with a strong emphasis on handstands, press ups, forearm stands, tumbles and scales.  Ages 12+. This class is all levels.  No experience necessary.

 

Rope/ Corde Lisse Jam

Sun 12:30-2:30p

 

A group collaborative sharing, exploring, and training experience on the rope.  Ages 13+. Must have previous rope or fabric experience intermediate/advanced levels.

 

Open Gym

Sun 11:30-2:30p, Mon 4:30-6:30p & 7:30-8:30p, Tues 10-11a, 6:30-7:30p (fabric only) & 8:30-9:30p, Wed 5:30-6:30p, 7:30-9:30p, Thur 11a-12p, 5-7p & 8:15-9:15p, Fri 6-8p, Sat 2-4p

 

Work on skills that you learned in class, build strength, work on choreography all while hanging out with awesome people.  Ages 7-11 must have guardian supervision. Must have some aerial experience.
